Students enrolled in our MainStage Performance Company perform in our full-scale MainStage productions.

Our MainStage productions are intentionally structured so that every student can receive plenty of individual attention, moments to sparkle in every production, and the ability to participate in theatre and the arts while also having time for homework, family time, church or community events, and even sports!

MainStage Performance Company meets 1 evening/week, following the school calendar.

Which program is right for you?
Pick Your Path depending on your goals & schedule:

Short-Term recreational theatre experience ~ Weekend Workshops, School Break Camps, and one-day events are offered throughout the year. 

Recreational classes in Acting, Music, Dance, & Improv ~ try a new activity!  Expand your theatre or performance knowledge, make new friends, build confidence, and perform in a recital at the end of each semester! 

Mini Musicals ~ our most popular class!  Mini Musicals are a great stepping stone for Musical Theatre students who aren't yet ready for the commitment of joining MainStage Performance Company. Each semester you'll work on material from Broadway musicals, build your  Acting, Dance, and Vocal performance skills, play improv & drama games, learn some general theatre technique, and put it all together in a performance at the end of each semester!

Build Technique & Artistry ~ our discounted class bundles Broadway Bound (ages 3-5) and Triple Threat (K-12th) offer a series of classes focusing on Acting Technique, Show Choir, and Musical Theatre Dance Technique. Classes meet once/week September - May and perform in 2 recitals.  

Improv Club ~ for students wanting to create their own content, experiment with screenwriting or short form content, or who just really love playing improv games! Perform an Improv Show each semester!

Perform in Full-Scale Productions ~ our MainStage Performance Company members perform in our full-scale shows.  This year's big show is SHREK THE MUSICAL and everyone enrolled will receive a featured role in the show.

Show Choir and Music Lessons ~ our SING JR and SING! Show Choirs perform 2 concerts each year, as well as appearances at community events. Private Lesson voice, guitar, or piano students will perform a solo in the recital each semester!

Preschool Classes for ages 2.5 - 5

Building Confidence, Boosting Creativity, Inspiring Imagination through Play

Bundle a 30-minute Theatre class and a 30-minute Dance class back-to-back for the Broadway Bound discount! 
Add-On additional preschool classes throughout the week for extra savings!

Storybook Adventures (Creative Dramatics) 
is a perfect introduction to Drama and Creative Performance. 
This year's play theme is “Woody & Friends” – Toy Story and Pixar fun!
Perform in recitals in December and May, 
and as an Opening Act for Shrek the Musical in March!

Broadway Kids (Musical Theatre) 
is for all the little performers who are ready for a spotlight! 
Perform in recitals in December and May, 
and as an Opening Act for Shrek the Musical in March!

Mondays 3:30-4:00 pm (Hickory Flat) OR Fridays 10:30-11:00 am (Woodstock)

 

Twirl (Ballet / Jazz) 
instills a love of dance in young children in a fun and caring environment!  
Perform in recitals in December and May!

Wednesdays 11:00-11:30 am (Woodstock)

 

Twist (Hip Hop / Jazz)  
is a great way to get your kids moving with upbeat music & high energy dance moves!  
Perform in recitals in December and May!

Wednesdays 4:30-5:00 pm (Woodstock) OR Fridays 10:00-10:30 am (Woodstock)

 

Tappin' Tots (Tap)
is a fun, high-energy introduction to rhythm and movement. 
**Tappin' Tots students have the opportunity to perform a Tap number in 
SHREK THE MUSICAL in March as well as 2 recitals in December & May!

Homeschool Daytime Classes

We've got fun daytime classes on Wednesdays and Fridays for K-12 homeschooled students! 
 

Daytime Classes are Drop-Off (parents are free to run errands, wait in the Rec Center lobby, go get a coffee, etc!)
 

Tuition starts at just $61/month for your first class and additional classes per family are just $38!

SING! Show Choir
combines choral singing with super-fun choreography for the best of both worlds – great vocal technique and powerhouse performances.  Perform concerts in December and May, and as an Opening Act for Shrek the Musical in March!

Improv & Comedy Club
is a great introduction to improv & theatre for young performers!  Perform an Improv Show in December and May!

 

 

 

Hip Hop Club
is a High Energy and FUN active dance class for guys & girls, culminating in a dance recital each semester! Boost your confidence onstage while focusing on your rhythm & dance skills!  Hip Hop Club features fun warmups, physical challenges, dance technique, and performances of fun (and age appropriate) hip hop dance routines!  All levels of dance experience are welcome to join the fun!
