Spring Showcase Location:
Sutton Middle School

 

Every current Forefront student is invited to participate in Spring Showcase with their class, or perform a solo if taking private lessons.

Each performer will receive a Spring Showcase tshirt and a video recording of their show time.

Spring Showcase participation is included in your class tuition and there is no additional fee to perform.

 

Each class will perform 1-2 numbers. 

 

Performers must OPT IN in order to perform at Spring Showcase by Monday, April 22.  
UPDATE: Spring Showcase Opt-In is now closed. We look forward to a great recital with our students this May!

 

 

 

Each class will be told what to wear as a Base Costume for their class piece. (Example: white tshirt, black jazz pants, black jazz shoes)  
Forefront will provide any additional accessories or costume pieces.

 

 

 

Everyone attending the Showcase as an audience member will need to purchase a ticket for that performance time.  

 

Tickets are assigned seating for that show time, which you'll select at checkout.

 

If your child is performing with multiple classes in separate show times families can receive complimentary tickets to one of the performances.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dress Rehearsal

This year we are trying something new! We will not require every class to run through their performance number on the big stage before their recital in an effort to make the Show Day more convenient for families and audience members. 

Students will have their Dress Rehearsal during their normal class times at their normal class location the week of May 6-10.  

Cast Arrival Time

Students will be assigned a specific Check-In time with their class, most likely 45-60 minutes before their recital.  We will gather all of the students in the Auditorium for a quick Cue-to-Cue and then usher them backstage to get ready for their show.

 

The Lobby will be open for audience members 45 minutes before each show time and Auditorium Doors for audience seating will open app. 15-20 minutes before each performance.

 

Following the show each student must be checked out from Backstage by a parent. 

 

Each class needs at least 1 Backstage Parent to stay with the students backstage when they are not performing. This parent will assist the kids with costume changes, waiting quietly in the Dressing Rooms while other classes perform, and getting ready for their moments in the spotlight!  Backstage Parents should arrive 1 hour before the show to assist our Showcase staff with student check-in. They will stay with their child's class at all times in the dressing rooms or backstage until their performance.  After the show the Backstage Parent will assist our Showcase staff with students being picked up by parents, and then they are free to go celebrate their child's successful recital!
