Forefront Arts Policies
2012-2013
Registration Fees
Each family must pay a yearly registration fee when they register for classes at select locations. The registration fee is non-refundable. Famlies who enroll before June 1st will have their registration fee waived.
Class Enrollment
A completed registration form and payment in full or your first monthly installment (based on the location) must be received for a student to be enrolled in a class. Classes are limited by enrollment minimums and maximums. Payment must be submitted within 1 week of submitting a registration form or your registration will be cancelled. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment you will be offered the chance to transfer to another class or will be given a 100% refund. Students must be registered 48 hours before a class meets in order to attend the first day.
Enrollment Deadlines/ Tuition Increases
Some locations feature a tuition increase of $15 2 weeks before our Fall Semester starts and 4 weeks before our Spring Semester starts. We prefer that students register in advance of that deadline so that our instructors have time to properly plan the class and gather all of the necessary materials. Students will still be accepted after that deadline, basd on availability and the $15 class price increase will be donated to our scholarship fund. Students must be registered 48 hours before a class meets in order to attend the first day.
Young Actors Ensemble Enrollment
Young Actors Ensemble members are not required to enroll in our classes to take part in our productions. However, we strongly encourage students to enroll in classes in addition to the show (especially acting or dance classes) so that they are able to focus on their performance technique in greater depth than what we can provide during our weekly rehearsals.
Referrals
Current students will receive a $25 credit for referring a new family. New families must name the current student on their registration form. Referral credit can be used for registration fees, class tuition, production fees, or can be donated to our scholarship fund to help students take part in our program that would otherwise not be able to.
Class Visitors
Students are not allowed to bring friends to class as visitors, unless they have cleared it with the instructor before hand. Visitors must complete a registration form in order to participate in a class. A participation fee for one class may be charged based on the situation. Those considering enroling in our classes may attend a Showcase or visit a class currently in-progress. Class enrollment is generally available for the first several weeks of each session, based on space.
Class Withdrawals/Refunds
Because our classes have set enrollment minimums and maximums please do not register until you are certain you will be able to participate. Our instructors are hired and plan their schedules based on our enrollment numbers. Please note that our class tuition is non-refundable. Students who withdraw from a class before the semester has started will receive a tuition credit, less a $25 administrative fee, which can be used on future classes (good for one year) or used by another sibling. Students who have selected the monthly installment payment plans will be charged at the beginning of each month, until 30-day written notice is given of withdrawal.
Summer Camp Withdrawal/Refunds
Because our camps have set enrollment minimums and maximums please do not register until you are certain you will be able to participate. Payment in full is required to register a student for one of our camps. Cancellations before May 1 will receive a refund, less a $25 administrative fee. No refunds will be given after May 1.
Payment by Check
If you prefer to pay your registration fee and class tuition by check please email info@ForefrontArts and let us know your intent to send a check so that we can be looking for it. Mail your check to Forefront Arts, 346 Carpenter Drive, #17, Atlanta GA 30328. A confirmation email will be sent when your check has been received. Bounced checks will result in a $30 fee. Payment must be received within 1 week of submitting your registration form.
Late Payment Fees
Monthly tuition is due on the 1st of each month, October - May. A late fee of $10 will be assessed after the 5th of the month. Accounts not paid by the 15th of the month will result in a student not being able to participate in class or production rehearsals until the balance and fees are resolved.
Payment by Debit or Credit Card
All classes may be paid using debit or credit cards using our secure website. Students may pay-in-full for a class or set up an automatic payment plan (based on the location). Your first monthly installment is due when you register and covers your first month's tuition. Upon receiving your registration form we will send you a payment authorization form to complete. We will run your debit/credit card at the beginning of each month, October - May. If a card has expired or declined we will attempt to contact you for a different card number. A late fee of $10 will be assessed after the 5th of the month. Accounts not paid by the 15th of the month will result in a student not being able to participate in class or production rehearsals until the balance and fees are resolved.
