Forefront Arts is currently accepting applications for interns looking for experience in theatre education or children's theatre production during the 2015 summer camp season.

Forefront Arts provides on-site performing arts training at 20+ locations around metro-Atlanta.  We believe the arts offer life skills that will be used by our students in every area of their lives.  Skills learned through performing include confidence, public-speaking, flexibility and leadership.  We are passionate about educating young people and offering them opportunities to expand themselves as individuals and as artists.

We offer leadership opportunities and internships for advanced students who want to continue their education and exposure in arts education and arts management.

Interns will meet with the camp directors for training before our camp season starts.  Interns will also attend staff meetings throughout the camp week.

All summer internships for high school students are unpaid but students will receive valuable guidance from their supervising staff, gain experience teaching and directing, and can request a letter of recommendation at the end of the internship.  Interns working with us for 4 or more weeks can participate in our Summer Stock Show at no charge, as well as earn tuition credits for future classes/productions.

All interns should expect to develop a relationship with their supervising Forefront Arts staff member including mentorship of duties, discussion of future goals and ideas, and encouragement and possible recommendation or facilitation for future artistic ventures.
