Our popular PRODUCTION CAMPS for pre3-8th grade campers feature acting, improv, creative play, singing, dancing, designing, and more. Our camp instructors are professional actors and every camp week culminates in a public performance of a full-scale show!

Extended Care Options:
Extended Care is a chill time where campers can eat food brought from home, watch movies, play board games,read books, do puzzles and coloring, play with a toy brought from home, or work on learning their lines.  Extended Care is supervised by our staff while they prepare for the next camp day.

Early Drop Off --  8-8:50 am:  $10/day or $30/week
Lunch Bunch (pre3-K only) -- 12 - 1 pm: $10/day or $30/week
Aftercare -- 3-5:30 pm: $20/day or $60/week (M-Th only)

(We do not offer aftercare on Fridays because our staff will be preparing for the Camp Showcases.)

2016 SUMMER CAMP THEMES: 
 These mini-camps are the perfect introduction for new campers who aren't yet ready for the spotlight, or who prefer designing over performing, but who still want the fun drama camp experience!  Campers will attend camp 12:30-3 pm each day.  Drama Discovery camps are self-contained and campers will not participate in the Production Camp performances at the end of each week, but they are welcome to attend as audience members!

Great for the young performer who doesn't care for singing & dancing but still wants acting training.  
Physical warm-ups, drama games, an overview of audition techniques, and rehearsing acting scenes and monologues.

PRODUCTION CAMP -- MAKE YOUR OWN MUSICAL
Choose your own adventure -- drama camp version!  Create and perform an original show featuring acting, singing, and dancing while incorporating popular songs from Broadway and the radio for a one-of-a-kind totally unique production!  Want to perform your favorite Taylor Swift song complete with choreography, background vocalists, and amazing costumes?  Now's your chance!  Our instructors will help each week's campers select, rehearse, and choreograph their favorite songs and create characters and a storyline to weave all of the music into a cohesive production!

PRODUCTION CAMP: ALADDIN

Take a magic carpet ride this summer!  Princess Jasmine must choose a husband and the street urchin Aladdin thinks he's the perfect guy.  The only catch? He's not a prince.  So he uses a Genie's magic power to become a prince in order to sweep Jasmine off her feet and onto his magic carpet.  Unfortunately, the evil Jafar and his accomplice Iago will do everything they can to get rid of Aladdin.  Will Aladdin and his monkey friend Abu find happiness, or will they use up their 3 wishes and have to go back to life on the streets?  Roles include Aladdin, Jasmine, Abu, Genie, Jafar, Iago, Magic Carpet, Rajah, the Sultan, Jr Genies, Shop Owners, Guards, Townspeople, Princes, and more!  Join us for a musical adventure filled with magic, mayhem, and the power of love!

PRODUCTION CAMP: SEUSSICAL THE MUSICAL

Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat, and all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage in this spectacular show!  Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must  protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, and he must also guard an abandoned egg that's been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird.  Although Horton faces ridicule, danger and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him.  Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family, and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!

Roles include Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, Mayzie La Bird, the Sour Kangaroo, the Wickersham Brothers, the Grinch, Jojo, the Whos, the Jungle Creatures, and more!

TEEN SUMMER STOCK: MARY POPPINS 

Serious students ages 13-20 will work with a professional director and choreographer to produce an advanced level show in just 1 week. Training throughout the week will focus on acting, music, and dance technique incorporating spins, leaps, tap, and stunts (those Chimney Sweeps have got some great moves!)  

The performances on Saturday night will feature all of the most-loved songs from the show including "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious", "A Spoonful of Sugar", "Steppin' Time", "Jolly Holiday", "I Love to Laugh",
"Chim Chimeree" and "Go Fly a Kite"!  

Due to the short rehearsal process, auditions will be held in May (exact date TBA) to cast the show.  Performers will receive scripts at that time and will be expected to have their lines memorized by the first day of rehearsal.      

Rehearsals will take place 5:30-9:30 pm Sunday-Thursday, July 10-14, and 10 am - 2 pm on Saturday, July 16.  Performances will be on Saturday, July 16 at 4 pm and 6 pm.  Tickets will be $5 in advance and $7 at the door.

Production Fee:
$195 until March 31st
$225 after April 1st

CAMP AGE GROUPS & TIMES:
Pre3-K (ages 3-5): Creative Dramatics Group 
9 am - 12 pm
Campers must be FULLY potty-trained and independent in the bathroom.  Campers must be 3 by the first day of camp.

Play a Junior Genie in "Aladdin", a Who in "Seussical", a Penguin/Little Chimney Sweep in "Mary Poppins" and a Rock Star in "Make Your Own Musical"!

Our smallest performers can take part in an exciting half-day camp. Each day we'll do warm-ups, play theatre games, make up stories, sing and dance to music, create costumes and props for the show, and practice for our big performance! Creative Dramatics campers in June and July camps will perform in the Camp Showcase with the Primary and Performance campers at the end of the camp week. Creative Dramatics campers in our August preschool camps will have their own special performances on Friday morning.

Rising 1st-2nd grade: Primary Group
Rising 3rd-5th grade: Performance Group
Rising 6th-8th grade: Principal Group

9 am - 3 pm for Production Camps
12:30 - 3 pm for Drama Discovery Camps

PRODUCTION CAMPS:

Campers will get to experience the entire production rehearsal process: auditions to find the perfect role for each student, blocking rehearsals, character development, memorizing lines, music and dance rehearsals, and finally, performing the show for an audience of family and friends at the end of the week! Groups will be separated by age and experience for instruction and game time throughout the week and combined for production rehearsal each day.  

In addition to working on material for each production campers will receive instruction in many aspects of live theatre including physical and vocal warm-ups, movement, music, blocking, improv, character analysis, ensemble building, theatrical makeup, and set and costume design. All levels of experience are welcome! 


DRAMA DISCOVERY CAMPS:
Campers in our new mini-camps will be exposed to various performing arts disciplines each week:  Improv & Theatre Games, Acting Scenes & Monologues, Musical Theatre, and Production Design.  These mini-camps are the perfect introduction for new campers who aren't yet ready for the spotlight, but who still want the fun drama camp experience! 

Ages 13-20: Teen Summer Stock Show
July 10-16 -- Johns Creek location
We are excited to produce a "Mary Poppins" revue focusing on acting, music, and dance technique for our oldest and most advanced students!  From the epic dance moves in "Step in Time" to the comedic timing in "It's a Jolly Holiday" to the vocal stylings in "Supercalifragilistic..." and "Feed the Birds", teens should expect to be challenged and propelled to the next level during one fun-filled week!  2 performances are planned for July 16.
